Dear Family and friends,

There is much to say about this week, but first of all I would like to express the amount that I miss all of you. I have received all of your cards and encouragement and I appreciate all of your words and thoughts. Thanks so much, it´s really a help to have so much support for what I am doing here.

In the past week or so we have been working very hard to bring more stone in the schools for the concrete floors. The price of stone and delivery is very expensive from the city so we are forced to take the steak truck and go into the mountains lugging stone after stone up the mountain to raise the level up to par. I am always reminded that we have it so good at home with our friend A.J Slinger (the stone slinger). Makes a job that much easier. So, the days are getting hotter and the nights are getting colder, but we keep on truckin.

This week I got sick again. I was going from every end and not feeling like getting out of bed for some time. After a day or two I was feeling good and realized how great of a body we are made with. >I am very blessed and so happy that I am able to get over these illnesses that fast. The reason I was ill was because I stayed up really late to read my new book (from Cousin Randy) for a few nights and my system took a dive for the worst. I caught the bug and there I was, leaning over the porcelain microphone. It was rough, but I found my way through it.

All is well at camp, the women are working hard with Ted to get the irrigation system going for our new garden. I hope to get some pictures out to you all soon. Bob and Peter are due back next Wednesday accompanied by two couples that wish to have this experience. It´s been really quiet lately, I´m not sure if I want to give that up. I´m sure it´ll be fine and dandy. Like I said, the nights are getting colder, so we do go to bed earlier(Some at 7:30) I do however stay awake later for some good silent reading time.

George is full force on the well and Ted is still doing pump tests for the finished wells. There are people walking to the well all day for their first buckets of life giving water. It´s so great to see the result of our perseverance and hard work. I can´t wait to get all the villages going with water. We are going pretty smooth now, so we pray for blessings to reach our goals and strive to do the best we can.

As far as that goes, that´s all I can say for this week. My work continues to make my days full and every night I go to bed knowing that I did all I could do. It´s nice being here, and a lot easier now that the holidays are over, but I am having dreams about being home and going out with friends and family.....sheer signs of homesickness, but I know that Lord will always give me what I need to persevere. I look forward every day to see you all and I hope you are all in good health when I reach you. May God Bless you this day and continue to show His love to the world through you. It´s nice to talk to you again and share my thoughts, I ask that you return the favor to me, because I´d love to hear from all of you some time.

Gracias por todo, y Dios te Bendiga.

Your friend always,

Marc van Ruyven
