NWOH volunteers travel throughout the Niagara area picking up good used school equipment and furnishings for shipment to developing countries. School children in Haiti and Guatemala benefit with the receipt of desks, chairs, cabinets, blackboards. Often special school supplies or sports items, such as soccer balls, are included in the shipments – to the delight of needy children.
